The Browster Extension

I've been playing with a new Extension the past few days. My buddy, Ward, turned me on to it. It is called Browster (http://www.browster.com) and works for both Firefox and IE. It allows you to preview any link on a page by hovering over it. After a split second delay, a lightning bolt icon will appear above the link. If you most your mouse over the top of the icon, a new browser (the Browster browser) pops up. What you get is a fully functional web page inside the pop-up browser. Allowing you to not only preview the web page (e.g. Reveal), but interact with a fully functional web page. I have tested it with Flash sites and the perform just as they usually would. Browster is especially effective when using major search engines to search the web (e.g. Google, Yahoo, etc). It's fairly cool, but the mouse over the lightning bolt seems to be a little annoying at times. It pops up the Browster window when I don't necessarily want it to.

Still all-in-all, it's not too bad.
